Coaxial high frequency connector SMB is additionally equipped with a plastic cover, which polarizes (encodes) the connector according to the industry standard FAKRA.
The FAKRA standard was created mainly for the needs of the automotive industry technologies used: RF signals GPS, GSM, radio (AM, FM, DAB) which does not limit the use of connectors in other applications.
TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS:
The FAKRA standard distinguishes thirteen mechanical keys coded with large letters, which are available related to color coding, which allows for easy identification
(letters A - Black, B - Cream, C - Navy blue, D - Purple, E - Leaf green, F - Brown, G - Gray, H - Pink I - Beige, K - Curry, L - Carmine, M - Orange, N - Green, Z - Blue marine).
The FAKRA standard provides for one neutral key - UNIVERSAL Z - Sea blue , which can be replaced encoding:
