High Frequency Coaxial Connectors SMB is additionally equipped with a plastic cover, which polarizes (encodes) the connector according to the industry standard FAKRA.

The FAKRA standard was created mainly for the needs of the automotive industry and technologies used in it: high frequency signals GPS, GSM, radio (AM, FM, DAB) which does not limit the use of connectors in other applications.

Codes, thus enabling easy identification and unique mechanical key coding which prevents mismatching. In The FAKRA standard provides for one neutral key.
