High Frequency Coaxial Connector SMB is additionally equipped with a plastic cover, which polarizes (encodes) the connector according to the industry standard FAKRA.

The FAKRA standard was created mainly for the needs of the automotive industry and technologies used in it: high frequency signals GPS, GSM, radio (AM, FM, DAB) which does not limit the use of connectors in other applications.
